That short walk goes a long way to providing funding and support
For several years I have participated in fundraising for and even walked in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk in my local community. This year the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk® will be taking place in over six hundred communities. It is a short walk with most of the distances between 2 and 3 miles but that short walk goes a long way to providing funding and support for the care of those touched by Alzheimer’s. Can you imagine a world without Alzheimer’s? I can but it will not come easily. We need to work together as a nation to help with funding for treatment and research and work together to raise awareness. Please take a few minutes to spread the message about this wonderful event and cause whether through social book marking web sites, through site submission services, through a friendly email sent to your family and loved ones or just by word of mouth at your local office or place of business. Together we can make a difference and help raise awareness and funding for the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk®.
