YouTube has a new flagging system
YouTube has a new flagging system for bad and copyrighted or offensive videos. I would expect this to kick off the YouTube wars where personal battles result in flagging each others content. The reasons are wide and varied and include:
1. Spam
2. Infringes My Rights (wow that could be anything)
3. Harmful Dangerous Acts (all the popular videos)
4. Hateful or Abusive Content (breaking stories in suppressed dictatorship countries)
5. Violent or Repulsive Content (hmmm)
6. Sexual Content (again this is already filtered but most of the top videos have this)
YouTube does hint at legal penalties for false notices. So I guess that is something.
