Sun Microsystems is pushing the open source and will buy MySQL AB for one billion dollars
I have never liked Sun Microsystems. Their Java has enjoyed a much too long lived life in the development area and even now with mobile devices. Sun Microsystems almost went belly up with their stock almost going to 0. Now Sun Microsystems is pushing the open source and will buy MySQL AB for one billion dollars. This makes me very nervous. MySQL is so vital to the internet and internet applications. I am so worried Sun will destroy MySQL and open the door for Microsoft to make a comeback.
