Digg has some competition. The new site Ximmy is a social news site. The difference between Ximmy and Digg is that Ximmy provides points for activities that can be redeamed for cash. One thousand points with Ximmy equals $10. Money is paid with Paypal. This is an interesting system that I will suspect will fall victim to hackers and spammers trying to make a quick buck. I would expect many other social networking sites to start offering ways to make money.
