BitTorrent is Great so why Isn’t it used for Everything?
Can you imagine if every single download was as fast as a BitTorrent and your Internet Service Provider didn’t slow this type of traffic?
Well what exactly is BitTorrent. Basically, it is a way to deliver huge files (we are talking 250 Gigs or more) much much faster than you would ever expect possible without any high bandwidth costs. How does it do this? By using a peer network of tens or hundreds or even thousands of small connections and downloading small pieces of a huge file simultaniously.
This is such a great invention and could increase the speed of every single download if only:
1. Every download was a BitTorrent
2. Your ISP didn’t block or slow these types of downloads
