Apple has settled with Burst.com
Apple has settled a patent law suit with Burst.com on delivering video over the internet. The amount of the settlement is ten million dollars. Burst owns a patent that allows for delivery of a thirty minute video and less than 30 minutes. Wow they should really try Bittorrent. Used legally and licensed, downloads would be delivered must faster. Microsoft settled with Burst.com for sixty million in 2005. It looks like Burst is bursting in the pocket book.
