Blu-ray has won. HD DVD is dead

Blu-ray has won. HD DVD is dead. Toshiba announced today that they are no longer supporting HD DVD players or recorders. This makes the vastly superior Blu-ray DVD the clear winner. Blu-ray is now backed by Toshiba, Sony, Matsushita (Panasonic), 5 major hollywood studios, and others. Warner Bros. Entertainment decided last month to only produce Blu-ray DVD. Over 1 million people own the crappy HD DVD players including owners of XBOX 360. Walmart also recently began selling Blu-ray DVDs. Netflix no longer rents HD DVDs. Blu-ray has always had a larger recording capacity. Shipments of HD DVD will end in march. DON’T BUY ONE.
