Stupid cable companies they are shooting themselves in the foot
The FCC did not pass stricter rules on Cable companies. This is a major defeat particularly on the front of allowing comsumers to buy cable channels individually. These FTC members that voted this down are obviously on the take from the Cable companies. Cable companies threaten to raise prices. The FTC needs a strong position requiring individual cable channels (packaged channels are obviously a scam such as the 30 various international, national, etc fees at the bottom of your phone bill) and limit price increases. Stupid cable companies. They are shooting themselves in the foot.
