Remember the stupid pricing on CRT monitors?
Remember the stupid pricing on CRT monitors? For years you couldn’t buy one for less than $150. Even once the new LCD monitors were widely available the industry continued to give consumers the shaft and artificially inflated the price of the CRT monitor. Well the same thing is happening with tvs. Did you forget that HD tv is mandated by 2009? Those sleek flat tvs are everywhere but the price is sky high at over $500 for the crappiest one. And regular tvs, if you can find one are still going for over $200. Why? Artificial price inflation. Just wait. One day soon those crappy $500 flat screens will be $200 and those $2,000 nice ones will be $500. I give it 2-5 years max.
