Google Destroys Myspace and Facebook

Google’s stock has just risen above $705 a share. Do you want to know why? Well it is because they have just announced a social network API program similar to that of Facebook but partnering with other social networks LinkedIn, Hi5, Plaxo, Ning, and Friendster. The social network operating system will also run on the Google social network Orkut (terrible name right?). This type of open source global thinking is just what sets google apart. By making their API system available to work on more than one social network they have immediately made it better. Oh and did you notice Myspace and Facebook were missing from the list?

Look out Facebook, you had better sell yourself to Microsoft fast. Myspace, I don’t think you can compete with the likes of Microsoft and Google for long.

There you go! Proof once again that Google actually is in control of EVERYTHING on the internet. The pagerank thing a few days ago…That was just Google showing it’s power. What happens when they just decide to shut the entire internet down for a nice laugh?
