I am hoping to get a new cell phone soon. I just have to wait until my Sprint contract expires. I think it does in January. I will be switching to Verizon and most likely getting a new LG phone. Hopefully I can save some money.
I have been continuing to run my web design business on the side. Things are a little slow this month. The economy is not helping things nor is the economy. Hopefully things will pick up soon.
Stupid Firefox. I do not know why Firefox does not have a setting to check for new versions of a web page every visit to the page. It is so stupid and bugs me with frequently updated web sites. Man how can I get this problem fixed?
Man my computer has been running so slowly lately. I need to get some more memory or something. Maybe I will uninstall some applications or reformat the computer. I hate it when my computer slows down. It bugs me to no end.
I am pretty disappointed with the new Xbox Live Experience. They fell way short when compared to what Sony is doing. Xbox Live users will be dissapointed and long time and power Xbox users have been complaining. It should launch in November. You can customize avatars and meet with others. The search changes also have many people concerned. And I am concerned about the privacy and tracking of users. We will see when it comes out. But thankfully the price of a new Xbox 360 was lowered to $199.
Digg Running 9 Front Page Stories Trashing Republicans and 0 Even Moderately Questioning Democrats. What a biased bunch of drivel. News? Try political propaganda, gaming, and agenda pushing.

In case you have not heard Entrecard is for sale. This ad network has over 80 million impressions per month mainly on smaller blogs. The domain Entrecard.com is also for sale. Monthly revenue from Entrecard.com is only $2,000 a month which is much lower than I ever thought.
The ad network itself is growing at 16% a month with 3 million clicks per month. It was launched by one person almost a year ago by one person.
A venture capitalist deal just fell through and so the owner is selling on Sitepoint.com due to family problems and growth problems. Supposedly the valuation is $8 million and I would guess initial bids would start at $700,000.
I would say that there is no way Graham is going to sell Entrecard especially for the lowball offers he will get on Sitepoint during a down economy. This will however get the attention of other VC companies and the original VC running back to the table.

It is getting some major attention on YouTube with over 1.5 million views and a 5 star rating. It is also the only time I have seen a YouTube video not play because of volume.

In a victory for fair use and bloggers everywhere a court has ruled in favor of a filmmaker who was wrongly attacked by Viacom over copyright. The judge found that Victor Rook fairly used material and in no way used material belonging to Viacom incorrectly. District Judge Jeremy Fogel ruled that web videos must first in good faith review a clip before taking action. Viacom is ridiculous. They have so far sent over three hundred and fifty thousand take down requests to youTube.
