What the Hell Netflix? The web site has been down for over 8 hours. It is not due to web site maintenance as initially reported. Netflix Director of Corporate Communications confirms it has nothing to do with maintenance. “It was an unanticipated, unplanned outage and we apologize to our customers.”
At this point and since Netflix refuses to communicate either via twitter, by their blog, or through other major web sites it must be under attack. In all likelihood it is a Denial of Service attack similar to that which affected several government web sites as well as media web sites last week.
Why else would Netflix refuse to communicate and offer only up the pitiful outage message for the last 8 hours:

For goodness sake FireFox! What are you doing!? Your browser is getting worse and worse. Why in the heck will FireFox not add an option to automatically display the newest version of a web page like Internet Explorer does. As a web developer I find myself constantly clicking refresh it is PISSING ME OFF!
If IE 8 is any good I am switching in an instant. I even use the Google Chrome Browser most of the time now!
What is worse Firefox randomly dies if you are using Vista and half the time kills off the internet until a restart. WTF Firefox?

Oh by the way I switched from Sprint to Verizon. Sprint was just pissing me off and Verizon is cheaper, has better customer service, and better coverage.
I went to the dentist today. I was actually expecting a rather large bill but I had to pay very little today. I guess it is due to the start of the new year and more funds available in my dental insurance account. I love that clean teeth feeling.
The Windows 7 Beta has gotten off to a rocky start. I have really been looking forward to Windows 7. Although Windows Vista is stable I just hate it. It seems like Windows 7 is everything Vista should have been but there have been problems and delays so far for the Beta.
There is nothing Yahoo can do to save this sinking ship. Nothing. Outing the CEO, selling off it’s parts, new products, closing products. It is done and dead. There is nothing Yahoo can do. Short of letting Microsoft buy it…..
Here are those New Years Resolutions I promised you:
1. Try and relax more

Anyone Know How to Set Firefox to Check for New Versions of Page Every Visit to The Page? You can do this easily in Internet Explorer. I am not sure why Firefox does not allow this. If Google Chrome ever builds this feature into its browser I am switching from Firefox forever.
Business has been picking up a little lately. People seem more confident in spending than in the last few weeks. On the small business web site design front many people are now looking to start new sites, businesses, or projects going into the new year. Thankfully.
