Watch YouTube on Your TV with Wii and PS3
I have done it on the PS3. I have also watched Hulu.com on the PS3 and it works pretty well. Youtube.com/tv has a made for tv viewing experience. If Youtube can start offering tv shows or Hulu.com can do this then I am cancelling my cable.

Yesterday Yahoo started laying off most of the fifteen hundred employees that they had claimed earlier would be loosing their jobs. Yahoo also changed their severance policy from two years to one year. Many recruiters were waiting outside of the door for Yahoo employees with job interviews shortly following. Some will be out of luck however.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average just dipped below 9,000. It was about a 7 percent loss today. The international markets are faltering and everyone is worried. In the last 7 days I think the Dow has lost about 20 percent. Even crazier is that Yahoo is on it’s way down towards $12 a share and lower. These are crazy financial times.
There is some kind of attack happening to Facebook. A malware worm is all over the network. The Facebook wall posts are infected. If you see a picture of a jester sticking out his toungue then you have it. The trojan most likely allows for other viruses or spyware to be downloaded. Social networks may be the new hotspots for phising, spam, spyware, and viruses.
I am pretty excited about Microsoft Windows 7. Windows Vista has been okay but had a lot of products. Meanwhile Windows 7 is scheduled for January 2011. So far it is still on track. Businesses may wait for this version. Hopefully it won’t let us down.
Bill Gates is retiring from Microsoft today. This is truly the end of an era. Bill Gates was a legend in his time. His business skill and aggressive approach changed the world. I am so pleased to see him turn his life to helping people. We wish him the best of luck.

The Microsoft Yahoo deal now appeals dead. Yahoo is turning to Google for help. It is funny however that Google put in that they can get out of the deal if less than $83 million in adds are served in 4 months. I bet there is an escape clause also on SEC and antitrust problems. Meanwhile Yahoo’s stock price continues to fall. Over the last 5 days Yahoo stock has fallen as low as $22 a share.
The Microsoft and Yahoo Deal is still stalled. Investors are pressuring a deal but it looks like Microsoft has now lost interest. I am not sure if Yahoo wants only a partial deal. Either way Yahoo is done. This is a death blow they can not recover from.
In a move to rival IBM, HP has purchased EDS for almost fourteen billion dollars. EDS had revenue of $16.6 billion in 2007. EDS is a great company and this is a very good move for HP which is also a great company. I am looking forward to great things from HP in future.
