Microsoft had given a deadline to Yahoo. Microsoft has formally threatened a proxy fight. The proxy fight will begin if Yahoo and Microsoft do not reach terms in three weeks. The Yahoo board stands to be replaced. This will no doubt send Yahoo scrambling. I suspect we will see a victorious Microsoft soon.
