Rainy Day

October 30th, 2008 admin No comments

Today is a rainy day. When ever it rains like this I like to stay home and relax. I watch some movies and stay in bed. Another great thing to do on a rainy day is to go to the movie theater. Try it out for yourself next time it rains.

Man my computer has been running so slowly lately. I need to get some more memory or something. Maybe I will uninstall some applications or reformat the computer. I hate it when my computer slows down. It bugs me to no end.

Windows 7 Come Soon

October 17th, 2008 admin No comments

Windows Vista is stable but it has a lot of bugs and a lot of crazy things. I want Windows 7 now. Steve Ballmer announced that Windows 7 is based on Vista but will have some fixes making it a lot better. On the plus side this is good for compatibility. But I think the announcement disappointments many people. You may have noticed that Microsoft recently released XP Service Pack 3. So I think they expect many users to hold out for Windows 7.

I am pretty disappointed with the new Xbox Live Experience

October 13th, 2008 admin No comments

I am pretty disappointed with the new Xbox Live Experience. They fell way short when compared to what Sony is doing. Xbox Live users will be dissapointed and long time and power Xbox users have been complaining. It should launch in November. You can customize avatars and meet with others. The search changes also have many people concerned. And I am concerned about the privacy and tracking of users. We will see when it comes out. But thankfully the price of a new Xbox 360 was lowered to $199.

Joker adult costume Halloween Adventure

October 10th, 2008 admin No comments

The Halloween Adventure web site is the master of masquerade. I usually shop for Halloween costumes in physical stores so that I have the benefit of closely examining the Halloween costume or even trying it on. However, the Halloween Adventure web site has such great information and pictures of the Halloween costumes that they make available for purchase that I do not need to take the time to physically go into a Halloween Costume Store or spend the higher costs of a Halloween costume at a store that pays high rent and costs in a mall. I really like all of the Star Wars costumes available at the Halloween Adventure web site and also all of the Batman costumes available at the Halloween Adventure web site. This year I might dress as the Keith Ledger Joker from Batman the Dark Knight. It is available for the sale price of just forty two dollars and ninety nine cents. And I was also presented with a coupon code EconomyShipping100 which provides free shipping on all web site orders of over sixty dollars via the United States Post Office Parcel Post shipping.

The Joker adult costume has a good rating and is made of one hundred percent polyester. Included are a mask, jacket, and printed shirt. Please note that pants, gloves, and shoes are not included.

One Reason Internet Explorer 7 is Better than Firefox 3 and Google Chrome: You can Turn Caching Off

October 10th, 2008 admin No comments

One Reason Internet Explorer 7 is Better than Firefox 3 and Google Chrome: You can Turn Caching Off. Face it. Firefox 3 and Google Chrome both suck at not caching. Now most people want caching but for those that don’t you are screwed. Like web designers, or web developers. Or users of web based applications. Or visitors to sites that update frequently. How about an option to turn caching off like in IE 7? Sheesh get with the program already.
